While the number of causes may seem small, the number of effects are much greater. This includes:

• Flooding and droughts cause destruction of habitat for both humans and animals.
• Temperatures rising causes ice caps to melt which leaves polar bears homeless.
• Destruction of habitats causes species to have no protection from predators and they will go extinct.
• Species going extinct will cause an imbalance in our ecosystem such as a lack of mice will cause snakes to eventually decrease in population.
